Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 130 of the Town Law of the State of New York and Article XIII of the Town of Florida Zoning Ordinance, a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Florida, Montgomery County, New York at 6:50 p.m. on May 1, 2020 for the purpose of considering text amendments to the Town of Florida Zoning Ordinance.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 202.1, issued by Governor Cuomo on March 12, 2020, and advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials related to the COVID-19 virus, the public hearing will be conducted remotely through the use of Zoom, a web-based video conferencing tool with local, desktop client and smartphone applications that will allow the Town Board members and the public to participate electronically and remotely by audio and with or without a video connection.

Please note that this meeting will be conducted remotely only and will not be held at the Town Offices, access to which is presently restricted.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 202.1, this meeting will be recorded and transcribed and posted to the Town’s website.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE COMMENTS THAT YOU WISHED SHARED WITH THE BOARD AND CANNOT ATTEND THE MEETING VIRTUALLY YOU MAY EMAIL YOUR COMMENTS TO THE TOWN CLERK AND SHE WILL SHARE THEM WITH THE BOARD DURING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON YOUR BEHALF.
