Notice Regarding April 6, 2020 Town of Florida Planning Board Meeting
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 202.1, issued by Governor Cuomo on March 12, 2020, and advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials related to the COVID-19 virus, the Town of Florida Planning Board (“Planning Board”) will convene its April 6, 2020 meeting remotely as follows:
The Planning Board meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. and shall be conducted through the use of Zoom, a web-based video conferencing tool with local, desktop client and smartphone applications that will allow the Town Board members and the public to participate electronically and remotely by audio and with or without a video connection. The agenda for this regular Town Board meeting will include rescheduling a public hearing to May 4, 2020 for the following project:
An application from Progressive AE for a special permit and site plan approval for the redevelopment of an existing warehouse building and site into a warehouse/distribution center to be used as a delivery station by Amazon Logistics (the “Project”). The Project is proposed to be undertaken on three lots consisting of Town of Florida Tax Map Parcel ## 54.00-1-29, 54.00-1-30 and 54.00-1-31 situated between NYS Route 5S and the NYS Thruway at 1785 NYS State Route 5S in the Town of Florida, Montgomery County, New York. The three lots will be consolidated into one lot to facilitate the Project.
