The Town of Florida Youth Commission is a volunteer board comprised of 7 members who are current residents of the Town of Florida.
The Commission organizes events and activities for youth and their families who are current residents of the Town of Florida.
Events that are normally scheduled every year include our Halloween Celebration, Christmas with Santa (usually a gift is available for resident children under 18 years old), Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny, movie nights, T-ball and recreation sport club, tubing and skiing trips, and if possible a bus trip to NYC, Boston or another fun destination. Other events are scheduled and new ideas and suggestions welcome!
The Youth Commission meets between 6-12 times a year to review the calendar of events, prepare and implement activities.
